About Potterpalooza
Members of the Coolidge Corner Merchants' Association include a group of diehard wannabe wizards. In their excitement over the last in the series of books, the group was inspired to share the magic with all of Coolidge Corner. They enlisted the talents of Jennifer Saphier, head of Saphier Events and a rabid Potter fan. This core group shared their enthusiasm with the full membership of the Coolidge Corner Merchants' Association, joining forces to create a great family-friendly celebration.
In addition to providing residents of Coolidge Corner and their families with a memorable event, the Coolidge Corner Merchants' Association felt the celebration should also speak to the groups' committment to serving the community. To this end, the Association decided Potterpalooza should benefit Brookline's youth by supporting the Brookline Teen Center Fund. The fund is directed towards the realization of a center to foster the healthy development of Brookline's teens. By providing a hub of programming for this age group, the Center will have an enormous positive impact upon the lives of Brookline's teenagers.
